Today on 18th Sept. 2017 Google has launched their new payment app named "TEZ" exclusively for India.

TEZ connects directly with banks:


Yes, this app directly with your bank. With Tez, you can pay directly from your bank account, which means your money is safe with your bank. There’s no need to open a separate account or worry about reloading wallets.
Tez uses UPI (Unified Payments Interface) and works with all major banks.

Tez this time beats all the major wallets by providing 24x7 call support Tez shield works 27x7 to prevent frauds  Each transaction is secured with your UPI PIN and the app is secured with a Google PIN or your screen lock methods such as fingerprint or any phone lock.

A new feature to make payments that is "PAY NEARBY"

In my opinion, this is the best and cool feature in this app- make payment by not sharing your ID.
Use Cash Mode to send money instantly to another Tez user nearby without needing to share private details like your bank account or phone number. Now you can transact with the simplicity of cash, but with added security.
